Preparing for Thanksgiving

I'm really excited about Thanksgiving this year. I have lots of family coming down and friends coming over for dinner. For me I truly mean it when I say the more the merrier. Nothing says home like having lots of people you love under the same roof and enjoying each others company.

I have A LOT of prep work to get completed before then though. Both mine and Patrick's extra room are in the middle of "crap where do we put this stuff". I want to get them good and clean and organized before family comes to stay so that its nice and comfy and not cluttered. Well at least organized clutter. I began today on my room and worked on it for hours and feel like I have so many more hours to go. I was going to take a picture of the "before" but I was too embarrassed of it to post it. Hah! I'll put up the after shots, and maybe a during but no promises.

I need to go out to the garage and look for some of my Thanksgiving decor. I don't know if I have much but I think I remember Patrick's Mom giving me a lot of stuff for fall decorations.

I came across this picture earlier. Sometimes my hubby can do something that hits a nerve, and I'm sure I do the same to him.
Then I came across this picture and thought to myself, I hope we always have fun and being silly in love with each other.

So are you going to do Nablopomo this year? Yay! Love the picture, where was it taken? Looks gorgeous!

I'm so excited about Thanksgiving!! I had a dream last night that I forgot to put the broth in the dressing and it was dry and horrible. I'm kind of freaking out about it, I've never made it before! But those are my fondest memories of Thanksgivings growing up...when we went to my grandparents' and had a housefull of aunts, uncles, cousins that we hardly ever saw. It was all laughs and games and fun.

Can't wait!

Yup I got it in there. About to make my post before bed!

Patrick's Mom and Sister like to play board games too. I'm excited about that.
