My daughter has been working for Blockbuster since her senior year. She has busted her butt for them, worked long hours and took crap shifts so that others who had kids or plans can be with their family's while missing out on her own time with hers.
For a long time now she has felt very used by her Manager. Her manager would leave the building for HOURS while still clocked in. Or not come back at all then edit her time later when it came to payroll. When Tara would bring it up to the district manager in front of the manager she would be treated like she did something wrong rather than the other way around.
Well today beats all I've ever seen. Now Tara has NEVER been written up for anything EVER. Today she was fired....for what...because her boss had told the District Manager that her and my daughter didn't work well together and it was either her or my daughter. Then the DM said that he was going to lose sleep tonight over this and how hard this choice was for him to do and that he would HIGHLY recommend her to work at any other BLOCKBUSTER but just not that one because Jen,the manger, said they didn't work well together. Have you ever heard of such a thing..ever.
I just don't see how this is legal. I don't see how this is right and I hope both of them don't sleep tonight.
Tara my love. You will find bigger and better. They never deserved you! You are to awesome.

That is so wrong Tammy...SO wrong! I remember the placed I worked at before Datamax, there was a girl who went into the boss and did the whole "It's him or me!" spiel, and they fired the guy. They accused him of slander or some such nonsense,and he couldn't fight it.
She needs to get away from there anyway. She's SO much better than that place! This is going to be a good thing in the long run.
